About this tool

Resizing changes an image's pixel dimensions. Use it to meet a platform's requirements, cut file size or make a batch of photos consistent. It all happens in your browser, with no upload.

Fit, crop or pad
Fit keeps the whole image inside your size. Crop fills the exact size and trims the rest. Pad fits inside and adds background around it.
Setting dimensions
Enter width and height together, or resize by one side or a percentage. The other side follows automatically.
Choosing a format
Keep the original format, or use JPG for smaller photos, PNG for transparency and WebP for a bit of both.
Adjusting quality
Lower quality means a smaller file. 80 is a good default for JPG and WebP. Go lower if size matters more than detail.

When to use it

Resize when a platform, form or page needs exact pixel sizes.

Web and email

Shrink oversized photos so pages load fast and emails don’t bounce.

Social and profile images

Fit images to the exact dimensions a platform expects, without distortion.

Batch cleanup

Resize a whole folder of screenshots or product photos to one consistent size.
